My top cars list after 1990!

American Made
1.) Viper
2.) 2003 Mustang Cobra
3.) ZO6 Corvette
4.) Dodge Prowler
5.) '95 Thunderbird SC

Foreign
1.) Turbo Supra (Turbo)
2.) Nissan 300ZX (Turbo)
3.) RX7 Turbo (late model)
4.) BMW M3 (late model)
5.) Eclipse (Turbo)

Keep in mind that these are cars under 100K and straight from the factory. How would you guys construct your top five favorites?? Keep in mind that I rated my top five by what I would buy if I could afford to own it.

hmmm.....

On the Foreign side everything is a turbo except the BMW. Why is it that smaller engines are better suited for turbo's. Is it because they turn more rpm's. I know that would be a plus for a supercharged engine, but why do smaller engines go with turbo instead of superchargers?

You cut my GNX or GN off by 3 yrs. Woulda been #1 & 2 ;)

I like your list, but unless that Prowler has an engine swap, it gets 86'd. Staying under 100k, but I'm doing 6 just to be different:

American
1)Original Viper
2)2002 Trans Am WS6
2)'03 Cobra
3)Corvette Z06
4)Corvette ZR1
5)1991 Supercoupe!
6)'91-92 Mustang LX notchback 5.0 Titanium, black leather interior, 5 spd.

Foreign
1)'03 BMW M3
2)Skyline GTS-R
3)Supra MKIV TT (please hold off on the stock wing)
4)'93 RX7
5)'99 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 or other version Dodge Stealth (1991-93)
6)'95 Porsche 928

Seems they just wring a lot more out of an engine overseas. I'm kind of disappointed the new RX8 isn't turbo, although they say it's close in power. I'd love to see that come out later. Still, I prefer that last RX7. I'd like to see turbo's get used here again on something other than a diesel truck.
