just for interest- I was in mexico in 1994 and was surprised to see lots of supercoupes. It was sold as a "luxury / performance"- and they went for over $USD 50,000.00 new. Recently I looked at some car selling sites in mexico and found quite a few of these cars for sale and prices seemed reasonable. ( I remember reading somewhere that for a while in the 90's the t-bird was Ford's leading "export " model.) I'm sure there must be a whole t-bird culture down there too.
