Hope you boyz gassed up ! Great time to own a car that needs premium gas huh ? The paper says that reg.unleaded gas should not be in short supply ...just premium....HAH ! I don't see any gas at all!
Glad i got it on friday.
See you guys at the pumps, paying 2.25 a gallon .....again....

1.89 for 93 octane and 1.99 for 94 at Sunoco down the street here in Veron, CT. 94 goes on sale for 1.89 on Wednesdays. Stop and Shop still has 93 at $1.78. I should go fill up this Wednesday before the increase.

i just went looking for gas. I have decided to set the alarm for 3:00am so I can avoid th 1 1\2 hour wait in line. I'm also going with reg unleded and removing the sc belt for a bit. No hot rodding this week. I STILL HATE ARIZONA!!!

Reg. unleaded and a can of octane booster maybe.....? remember what riding around with no SC belt did to Pauls car ?
J/K ..coincidence!

Running with 87/89? Not this guy! A penny saved on gas is a dollar wasted on engine parts. Octane boost reg gas isn't cost effective.

i was just at I-17 and Catus and there is no gas... This sucks
Looks like it's time to drive the pony........ 87 ford escort pony that is...

You can remove the octane plug, this reduces timing by 2-4 degrees and allows you to run lower octane gas. Just don't get on it.

To add insult to injury....

man, that gas shortage has got to suck bad!
i was watching ch. 12 news this morning and they were doing a remote from a gas station. the wait in line was like 1 hour long and they were charging ~4.50 per Gallon!

Andrew:cool:
P.S. Gas is still $1.68 for 91 octane
here:D

They said that things should be back to normal within 7 to 10 days. Thats bull... It's like none of the higher powers even care,
they New York back online in a day or two but we get F@#%ed.

I guess thats just life( and another one of the ****** parts of phoenix)

Wish we had a choice.......not gonna run 87/89 to be cheap! When i say that's all there is ...well that's all there is!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that one of the 3 stations i saw this morning that even had gas, was at 7th st. and Cave Creek
4.97 a gal premium 3.47 a gal. unleaded

yes they did have customers...

ok i found out what to do.... Just go out at 1 or 2 in the morning and the lines go alot faster. Texaco at 19th and Union Hills has unleaded for $2.05 and Diamond Shamrock at I-17 and Union Hills has unleaded for $1.99. But i'm telling you, just go out in the morning, i waited 10min, and they let me fillup.

Hmm decisions decision... think I'll be driving up to Phoenix this weekend... think I'll pick up to 6.5 gas cans on the way ;-) maybe bring the motorcycle in the back of the pickup as well... guess I'll have to see what happens. Gas down here is still about $1.67 for regular unleaded and under $2 for premium.

Paul

How about sending some of that under two dollar gas this way. I don't what's cheaper to drive, my SC or the wife's powerstroke dually.
Now if I can just talk the state in letting me drive the company car home I would be set.
