Cobra Rear Axles ?

And it has upper and lower a-arms.That would help lower some of the wheel hop.

I don't think so.......

Wheel hop with Cobra IRS is a significant problem, much worse than the SC.

I spent much more money curing the hop on my Cobra than I did I my SC's..

DFL, So are you saying a single arm upper & lower a-arm
would be better than upper & lower a-arms.
Here in IL. the Cobra arms would work better on these roads.
And help reduce some of the flex, that I beleive contributes to
wheel hop.It may not get rid of hop but I would think It help.

If I can get this deal together .I would not mount the sub-frame
on rubber and the bird will have a frame under it.and inside.

And I plan on gettig some plates on the back that will say Cobra-Eater.
I allready have had VET EATER plates on an older mid engine Ford.

I would come out and race you but the last time I was on the east coast at a H.D. race
at Atco Some ******* angels had a shootout in the pits, and I got some bullit holes
in my trailer.

No, I'm saying that the Cobra IRS, despite having both upper and lower A's, has a worse hop problem.

I don't go to Atco, it's a dump. I do, however, live 20 minutes from Englishtown.

Bring whatever you've got, but hurry, 'cause very soon my Cobra will be in the 10's :D

rookie 94sc ,they don't sell GT40S yet.And I have never heard of a RS200.

DLF,Your right about ATCO being a dump.

But with the shorter cobra axles and the better design a-arms .They half to be
better than the Thunderbird IRS rearend. And being shorter would give a little more
room for wider tires. And a better wheel selection. And stronger with the extra splines.

Your Cobra would be to fast for me.

Well you said older so I thought maybe one of the older GT40's...

RS200's are fun :) 600hp (in evolution trim) Cosworth I-4 Turbo 250hp in street trim, AWD. Part of the group B Rally cars. One of my dream cars actually :).

The rest of the world gets all the fun cars :(

Hey the Pantera. That was yet another one of Fords failures. They take an awsome car and then market it horribly until it fails. How stupid does a car company have to be. They take a Hot Rod sports car and then only allow Lincoln dealers to sell them. How many 75-80 year old Lincoln drivers would consider buying a Pantera. Um, my guess would be none. What were they thinking.
