    bit of a problem

    Ok been outta the SC scene for a year just picked up another one...anyway the Anitlock light and Ebrake lights are staying on and the pedal is hard to push and brakes hardly work? what could be the problem?

    Welcome back to the wonderful world of SC ownership!! You should know what you're in for.

    Check the following:

    When you first turn the ignition on, do you hear the abs pump being initialized? Make sure after starting the car the key returns to the "run" position.

    Change both relays on the passenger side cowl for the abs. They aren't expensive. This is the most likely cause of your condition.

    Fuses.

    After you change the relays and the lights are off, pump the brakes to see how many times it takes before the pump starts to fill the accumulator. I believe it should be around 8-9. If it's 1-3, change the accumulator. Look up the link for Prior Manufacturing and get a replacement.
