Way to go Bush, send the message home.

I loved seeing the Democraps sitting their frowning as Bush sends home the real messages. And watching Ted Kennedy shake his fat head no about everything.

Home ownership rates highest they have ever been. New home construction, highest it has been in 20 years. Increases in Medicare, and many tax breaks. Helping to eliminate the Death tax and marriage penalty.

Funny how the Democraps booed when bush said that we need to continue cutting taxes for small business owners. And to keep the tax cuts that have already been given.

"A government run health care system, IS THE WRONG SYSTEM FOR OUR PEOPLE"

"OUR NATION MUST DEFEND THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE." (that means man+woman, not man+man)

"We should relieve the burden on the tax payers and act as good stewards with their money."

"America will never ask for a permission slip to protect our freedom!"

Lybia surrendered to our demands and shut down their WMD program.

God Bless America and our President.

1BADSC, you disgust me. You wish to raise the premium prices of MediCare to seniors (which has already happened), you wish for us to continue spending money we do not have, and you wish to deny a group of people the right to marriage that have every right to marry and be seen under the light of God and the light of this nation as in love and as an autonomous couple.

You disgust me.

Democrap response:

Nancy Pelosi:

We need permisssion from other countries in order to protect ourselves. We should have had a colalition (even though we have a larger one than we did in World War Two). We should not have gone after the terrorist in a pre-emptive strike, we should have fought them on our ground.

Demcraps have a better way to protect us. "To inspect all containers coming into the US." And to increase security at Power plants. (yeah that will really stop attacks).

Tom Daschle:

"The president asked us to use SOC security money to pay for tax cuts" (must have missed that one in the transcripts of the speech)

Our first challange is to strengthen the economy by more gov spending. We can not award the accumulation of wealth.

Because of tax cuts, states have had to adjust their budgets. (oh no, you mean they had to watch their spending)
We should raise taxes to give more money to those who can't afford 1500 dollars a month for cancer drugs.

92burnSC you better read your bible again.

Gays are considered an "abomination, punishible by death" ALL sin is punishible by death! No where in any bible will you find any word giving gays permission to marry.

first of all theres no reason to bring religion or religious beliefs into this thread and/or community. Keep it to yourselves, stop being little kids.

second of all , the original topic at hand was merely a topic of an individuals feelings for his president and his country.

God bless America!

Well, it's an awfully good thing that such a hateful text as the Bible is not allowed to be entered into the governing of this country.

Homosexuals do not CHOOSE to be homosexual, per se. It is built into their genes. Ask one. They'll tell you the same thing, and who would be a better authority on homosexuality than a homosexual. If God doesn't like them, he shouldn't have created them. Think about it. These people have done NOTHING to you. Nor will they.

Anyone else find it interesting how it is scientifically proven that those who describe themselves as anti-homosexual/homophobic show the highest levels of sexual arousal when exposed to homosexual pornographic material? Look it up, it's scientifically proven.

Now, asnwer these questions and pose me some, I would be happy to answer them. Nothing like a good ol' fashioned political debate...when organized AS a debate.

- Why do you support Bush when he wishes to force the power of government behind an agenda to prevent homosexual marriages when conservatives are all about limiting the power of government?

- Do you support Bush's "No Child Left Behind" program, a program that is opposed my the vast majority of teachers' unions, education professionals, education administrators and is already underfunded by $200 million.

- How do you think Bush is going to cut our deficit in half within 5 years by cutting taxes?

- How well do you think that our economy is doing when it is estimated that we would have to create 227k jobs each month until the end of Bush's term to make up for the 3 million jobs that have been lost under his watch (keep in mind, he only created 1,000 jobs in the month of December, the most economically robust month of ANY year)?

- Why is it that we are the only western power without healthcare for every citizen?

- Why should we ask our citizens to pay $1,500 per month for cancer treatment when Canadians pay about 20% of that? Is our cancer treatment 5 times better than Canadian cancer treatment? Especially to the 44 million people who cannot even afford health care?

- How can you support such a hypocrite that preaches freedom yet wishes only to limit the freedom for homosexuals to marry, the freedom of women to make up their own mind on abortion, the freedom of every American to have health care they can afford, the freedom of the world to come together to unite without one big bully (us) deciding what everyone else should do?

Please answer these and pose your own questions. This could be very educational for everyone to see conservative reactions to liberal questions and visa versa.

I can support him because I am a person of morrals.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

People choose to be gay. Time for people to take some responsibility for their actions instead of blaming someone else. I follow Bush because he is of good morals. Something our country could really use some more of. Democraps and poor parenting have led our country into a moral vaccum.

Hatemongering has never been moral. People used Biblical arguments to oppress African Americans through the 1960s. The same way you are doing to homosexuals. Look up research. It is NOT a choice. Homosexuals either deny their own sexual urges and enter a loveless heterosexual relationship against their will, or they embrace their identity and learn to love.

You still didn't answer each question as I politely requested. Please do so. I want to hear your answers to my questions.

ROFL... thanks 1BADSC... I was clearly incorrect in belief that if you were given an inch ;-)

Personally I think that Bush is a liar and an alcoholic ... not to mention the fact that his "foreign policy" if you can call it that has managed to do a good job of destroying whatever good will amongst nations had been built up during the Clinton era.

All that aside, the responses to this topic have managed to violate any number of board policies ;-) Good job.

ROFL
Paul

ps: I've learned the error of my ways (that and I have no particular opinion about this post) so if it gets reported... it wasn't me :p

"hy do you support Bush when he wishes to force the power of government behind an agenda to prevent homosexual marriages when conservatives are all about limiting the power of government?"

Answer: Because he is moraly and religously correct in doing so.

"Do you support Bush's "No Child Left Behind" program, a program that is opposed my the vast majority of teachers' unions, education professionals, education administrators and is already underfunded by $200 million."

Answer.
Yep, I support it fully. Teachers don't want it because they are held accountable. The money will come in soon as the bills are passed.

"How do you think Bush is going to cut our deficit in half within 5 years by cutting taxes? "

Answer: Because he is cutting horrible programs that serve no purpose. Like welfare. The key is to limit the gov's spending.

"How well do you think that our economy is doing when it is estimated that we would have to create 227k jobs each month until the end of Bush's term to make up for the 3 million jobs that have been lost under his watch (keep in mind, he only created 1,000 jobs in the month of December, the most economically robust month of ANY year)? "

Answer:
December was not the most robust month of any year in his term. Do you honestly believe jobs wouldn't have been lost with a democrap in office. The huge iinternet compaines all fell on their face, and after 9/11 and after the Enron scandle. And still after that the Dow hit above 10,000 (not easy to do). No matter who was in office jobs would have been lost. But it is Bush who has been digging us out of it. And might I add that the economy was nose diving when Clinton was leaving office.

"Why is it that we are the only western power without healthcare for every citizen? "

Answer: Because most people do not want pay higher taxes to support other people.

"Why should we ask our citizens to pay $1,500 per month for cancer treatment when Canadians pay about 20% of that? Is our cancer treatment 5 times better than Canadian cancer treatment? Especially to the 44 million people who cannot even afford health care? "

Answer: Because most pharmaceutical companies spend more in advertising and perks than they do in reaserch and development. Medicine should not be as high as it is. But people are obviously coming up with it or else the demand would go down and prices would fall with it. I agree that it is not right and there have been steps taken to eliminate all of the unethical pharmaceutical practices.

"How can you support such a hypocrite that preaches freedom yet wishes only to limit the freedom for homosexuals to marry, the freedom of women to make up their own mind on abortion, the freedom of every American to have health care they can afford, the freedom of the world to come together to unite without one big bully (us) deciding what everyone else should do? "

Answer: The first set have all been answered. We do not want the world to unite under us. We just want opressed people to be free. And to save hundreds of thousands from being murdered for no reason at all. The middle east is so afraid of democracy and freedom that terrorist from all over are rushing to Iraq to try and stop the Iraqi's from gaining their freedom. This was the whole plan. Once you plant democracy in Iraq and Afganastan you close in and surround the Middle east with a free people. Freedom spreads like wild fire. Lybia has already agreed to dismantle their WMD program and join in the US effort.

I actually thought we were having a friendly discussion about our seperate beliefs. I am not upset with anyone.

Sure i would for everyone to take my view point, and I am sure you would love for me to take yours. However, that can never happen unless we know what the other is thinking.

i say we stand by our leader . and if we dont like em impeach him,
but lets not turn the office into a bad joke,

we can recall Impeach or just vote better next time .
but while he is in office I will support him as the leader of my country.

of those who complain Id like to know hos many voted?
how many times "for floridians" lol

Ive found that most people who complain didnt even vote .

and Im wondering how many here did infact vote.

and how many voted for the best of the bad selection of candidates.

I for one voted for Bush but didnt think he was perfect for the job just the best available at the time.

so thats it ina nut shell

I think this is a really good thought:

(seriously!) unfortunately I think it is wishful thinking... while the theocrats and royalty are certainly afraid of democracy, the greater problem is likely that their cultures have no real concept of what "Democracy" means ... can you imagine anyone 1st world mother deserted her children in order to blow up civilians in a cafe? I can't actually imagine any 3rd world mother doing that - yet it happens...

"Time for people to take some responsibility for their actions instead of blaming someone else. I follow Bush because he is of good morals. Something our country could really use some more of. Democraps and poor parenting have led our country into a moral vaccum."

personally I follow bush 'cause... never mind <g>

But the main idea is. Once people have thier freedom and see what that actually means, ,they will fight to protect it. Once that starts to happen more and more terrorists will be ending up dead or in jail.

I really back Bush on the idea of taking the fight to them before they can bring it to us. Why should we wait around for attacks to happen on our soil in our cities, and then try to arrest those responsible.

It is much better to take the fight to them on their soil and in their cities.

what about Lesbians? bible doesn't say anything about them :p

Also, technically, the bible doesn't forbid gays to marry, just forbids gays to "lay together"
