    Wiper Arm Removal

Hi guys I have a question about removing the windshield wiper arms. In the manual it say" Use a screwdriver to pry the wiper arm release lever outÖ" Iíve tried but it does not seem to want to come out. Is this the clip? (see pic) If so does anyone have any tips to pull it out? I didn't want to pull to hard but is that all it takes?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

thats the clip--just pull upwards on the arm(spring loaded) until its at its stop or max --then the clip will easily slide right over

then let the arm back down --it will rest on the clip

    Thanks

Thanks Brianas. I would have never figured out how that worked by myself. Strange they don't go into more detail in the book. Weird system but I guess it works!
    Thanks again,

There is a trick that makes it a lot easier because in the park position, you can't raise the arm without hitting the under edge of the hood. So I stop the wipers by turning off the key when they are straight up on the glass. That way, you can easily raise the arms as far as you need and most times only need my finger to pull the clip out. Good luck
