What is the MAXIMUM amount of boost for an SC block?

I want to know the MAXIMUM possible boost that can be exerted on the block. I don't want to know what YOUR maximum boost is because I highly doubt it truly is the MAXIMUM unless your engine has blown (or you are one of the fastest SCs posting right now). I want to know the max. The limit. The point of no longer having a working engine.

well with 220lbs springs in the heads ... 30 psi of manifold pressure ..would start to open the valves ...based on 75 pounds of pressure on the valve spring per 10 pounds of boost ... to answer your question of working MAX boost ...depends on how much you can cool the boost ...cause heat is the killer here not boost ...dave
