The passenger side requires a little grinding on a piece of the trans to provide clearance and I mushed one of the tubes a little bit to provide clearance to the starter.
The driver's side required me to cut all three tubes and re-route them. It was quite a hassle. I figured that all said and done, it would have been worth spending the $600 on Kooks long tubes.
I bought the Macs for $250
Mandrell bends were $ 60
Header paint was $ 8
Two weeks of frustration cutting, grinding, welding, fitting, cutting, grinding, welding and fitting.. Priceless.
