Is the outlet diameter of the stock resonator and tubes to the split 1 7/8 or 2"???

1990 automatic...

Trying to get some specifics before exhaust work...

I want to do 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" pipes to a magnoflow resonator without cats, then not sure what to do after the resonator...

The magnoflows I've seen are either 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" inlets with a 3" outlet.

I was hoping just to hook back into the stock exhaust after the resonator, but not sure if it would be a god idea or what?

I eventually want to do a cold air intake, a %10 pulley, and a 75HP shot of nitrous with a bigger fuel pump.

Would 2 1/2" pipes be necessary, or would the 2 1/4" pipes be enough?

I've got a friend of mine that knwos a dude that runs an exhaust shop in a town several miles up the road, and I want him to know exactly what I want done before I show up there.

The 3" to 1 7/8" after the resonator is my concern.

I'm also unsure if the pipe after the resonator is 1/78", 2," or what...

The stock pipes from the manifolds, throught the cats, and to the resonator are 1 7/8" correct?

I figure it would cost a good bit more to run a 3" exhaust to the "split" though...

Would the mod be worthless if I left it stock after the resonator?

Thanks guys!
