Dash cover choices

Who out there has a cover which they're really proud of?
I found a place on the web called dashhugger or something like that which has a sweet thunderbird embroidery label available, but I'm wanting to know if there are any other recommendations.

dash mat

I have a dashmat brand cover on mine. Actually all out cars have that brand covers on. I think they fit good and look good as well. You can get embroidery and different colors if you want.

I'm happy with mine, I have a 94, and we have a 90 with the different style mat as well and both fit quite nicely.

Well, let me chime in for dashhugger. I have one in my '94 and I love it. Both the look and the feel. Here's a picture of mine. I have the embroidery the same color as my exterior.

nice

That looks very nice. I didn't get embroidery on mine. I like the look with that, sorry I didn't get it.
Also if you have the climate control and auto headlight sensors on your dash, make sure to get the cutouts or it won't work properly.
One interesting note. on my 94, the one with the grate over it is for the headlights, and the one that looks like a normal photo sensor is for the climate control. I had to cut each out since I didn't order it precut. It doesn't cost anything to have the cutouts, and they look cleaner than if you just hack away at it.
I personaly think that the dash hugger looks nicer. And if I had known it before I think I may have choose it over dashmat.

I ordered mine without the cutouts. But there are circles drawn on the bottom so you can cut them out yourself if you want.

I just left mine covered, so essentially, my headlights are always on (it's safer that way anyway).

Also, the black cover makes it 100% easier to see out the front window. There's absolutely NO glass glare from the sun reflecting off your dash!

Would be nice to see a dash cover in 89-93 model SC. Dale has a real nice dash cover in his never style SC. :)

Here Ya Go!

This is a DashHugger cover. My dash was cracked really bad so I just screwed the cover on with tiny screws.

i have done the coverlay cover. its a molded cover that you glue down to the dash. its not bad, but here in Fresno,CA the heat of the summer warped it in between the glue blobs. i followed the instructions. So i made my own using a piece of the cover lay and some fiberglass. yes it was a pain, and no i will never make another. it then covered with landau ading and i vinyled it. not a bad fix until i pull the dash out some day.
