    quick question about 180 t-stat!

I have the robertshaw 180 t-stat and i have not yet done the fan mod to make the fan come on earlier. Will this be a problem? I plan on starting the motor for the first time today! (if all goes well). Thanks

    No. No problem.

A 180 degree thermostat isn't a magic bullet. All it does is allow the coolant to flow through the radiator sooner than the stock thermostat. That's all.

It association with the fan mod is strictly that the fan may have to run sooner than the stock sensor would trigger it to help keep coolant temps under 195.

So you shouldn't see a real change with the thermostat by itself on a warm day.
