I have been to Magnaflow website to compare part numbers with what is available at Jegs site. No can do...

Is the muffs available at Jegs the right type??? Cuz the one I have seen at Supercoupe perf. was basically a see through resonator and these have all of the wadding and sh!t in them...The part numbers I have from Magnaflow are...

14221/ 3.00"/2.50" Dual reversable...14" body...It is the oval stainless steel Muffler.

The part number with Jegs, that appears to be the same dimessions is...

642-12198 with the same dimensions as per above. THe detailed picture of this has all the wadding and stuff in it...Does not appear to be what I am looking for...Just wanna make sure I am getting the right one...Here is the link to JEGS and Magnaflow...Please help me on this one guys...

Cuda,
the 12198 will work just fine;
but it is the aluminized version, not stainless,
so its on a different page on the Magnaflow site.
It is a straight-through design.

I run the longer [18"] one, 12288, sounds real good,
lowest tone i ever heard on a V6, and quiet,
but ballsy, with Dynomax ST mufflers.
The shorter [14"] one would be easier to fit.

If you're dropped, be aware,
the Magnaflow is pretty tall;
definitely will scrape speed bumps on occaision.

I saw some interesting low-profile mufflers
on, i think, Spintechmufflers.com;
couple of nice flat dual-in, single out units,
but not cheap. Don't know if anyone's tried them on SCs.
