Hey guys
well i went onto summit racing and ordered a fuel pressure gauge and an adaptor after following the instructions on another thread. It said to go to the local hardware store and get a 45 degree angle fitting to attach to the fuel rail and the adapter. Well i went to Ace Hardware and they had nothing and they said that they didnt even know what type of adapter it was. So my question is can anyone give me advice on what fitting will work and where to get one? oh and this is kinda a stupid question but when u attach the fuel pressure gauge u take the schrader valve out of the fuel rail right? well please any help would be GREATLY appreaciated. thanks guys.

last time i looked i think summit sold the proper fitting to go from the fuel rail to the a/n line. Yes, you remove the schrader valve. I went to a hydrolic repair shop and got the parts i needed.

thanks alot guys

The fitting you will need that goes between the shrader adapter and the gauge is going to be a 45* 1/8" male to a female thread that is whatever size thread your gauge is. Ace hardware sells a 1/8inFPT X 1/8inMPT
part # 4049961: http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1273436

I just wanted to give a quick update for this. I'm looking for the 45* angled fitting and the ACE hardware number has changed.
The new ACE PN is 4505665. The link is below:
