05 mustang gt motor swap

Looks like i'm going to be the proud owner of a 10k 2005 mustang 4.6l motor and transmission. i found on ebay for $2000 with harness and accessories.

This should be a relative easy swap i would think.

anyone looked into the swap yet? How will the computer interface with a 92 sc body?

I don't think it's going to be all that easy. The 05 is drive-by-wire and there are some computer issues you will need to take care of. It would be easier to loose the VVT and go with an EEC-V computer.

Agreed. I wouldn't call that a simple swap by any means. Drive-by-wire, COP ignition, VVT, and plenty of other issues need to be resolved. I also agree with Brian that using a EEC-V setup from a 4.6L MN12 would likely be the best way to go.
