I just clicked on the SCCO site and saw this work of art. Who's engine is that? I must see that car. Absolutely amazing.

That is Paul Bromell's engine (screen name car2n). It's being swapped into his 97 3.8 Mustang, which is also green as you may have guessed. ;)

the green looks even better in person, the flash from the camera makes it look like a pale green, its actualy a candy green. I know cause I powdercoated the parts for Paul.:D I cna't wait to see that bad boy in the car, its gonna look SWEET!

I'm drooling all over my keyboard and a good thing my girlfriend isn't here, she would think I'm on a porno site...;)

I really must see that car. (even if its a Mustang:eek: ) If he comes to a meet, I will be there.

LOL Porno site You guys crack me up
Here's a link to my site that lists the makeup of the engine. There's a link on that page to the motor internals.

It's finally coming together. The old motor will be out tomorrow. Ya think your engine is clean until you try taking it out. I'm going through shop wipes like crazy.
I'll spend the next couple days cleaning and polishing the engine bay and then start getting the new motor ready to be dropped in. I have to mate the new flywheel and clutch to it and I'll paint the tranny too.
:)

Do you keep it next to your bed, Paul?:D
Who cares about plants, main thing that car is coming together)))

You luck northerners...No AC must be nice. 'Course, mine is broken now...but I still need it.

That's Paul's choice. We get too many humid 85 to 90 degree days here in the summer. I sure wouldn't be without the A/C in my Super Coupe. ;)

cheers

I have spent a lot more hot and humid days up here than I ever did in all my travels thru the US of A. NO A/C, No run the car!!!!!!!! On the other hand, it doesnt really go fast enuff to cool me down even with the windows open.

What kind of T-body is that with no shaft on the one side? Or did you have it "redesigned" that way? Are all of your pullies Ryan Harris Pullies? What computer do you guys who run the Crustang with the SC engine use? Do you swap over the harness/computer from the SC? If not, who does your tuning? Do you guys think the live axle is a greater advantage over the weight of the SC or is the weight a larger advantage? Have any of the rest of you guys had any luck/problems with the stroker engine? Why do I have sooo many questions this morning?

> That's the 85mm Magnum Powers TBody. It's a direct bolt-on and needs to use the Supercoupe throttle cable/bracket.

Are all of your pullies Ryan Harris Pullies?
> Most are, But I have sold the crank pulley and replaced it with Magnum Powers 10% crank pulley.
The PS steering pump and the tensioners are from Heartland.

> You can use the Crustang computer along with a chip/dyno tune. I'll be doing the SCT tune.

Do you swap over the harness/computer from the SC?
> The Mustang harness is used. A couple wires need extending. The ones for the IAT are the only ones antcipated. I'll be using the 90mm Lightning MAF so I have to wire the correct connection harness to the Mustang harness.
