Black Trim Pieces...

Anyone know how to get those black trim pieces off
of the side panels? They run down the middle of the car
on both sides. Mine are black. Guess they are bumper
guards or something. Mine is 90 SC, Red with those black
bumper guards or whatever. Do they lift off, or peel off??

Eventually I would like to get painted, would like to take
these trim pieces off to avoid overspray and check for
corrosion underneath the trim.
