Not like it is hard and time consuming to remove. Just take it off and save the chance of breaking it. A few phillips screws, two torx head screws and pop off the wiper arms, unhook the washer lines and you are good to go.. Good time to clen them up good and maybe hit them with some good quality plastic paint (after the right prep work of course....)
