What kind of RTV is used on the crank shaft, when installing a new harmonic balancer?

I think Tom used copper RTV all around the oil pan, and on the front around the seal. Maybe Sean will recall better?

The snout of the crankshaft is sealed in the timing cover via your front main seal. No RTV is necessary there. The oil pan is sealed to the bottom of the block and the timing cover by RTV from the factory, or by a cork gasket and RTV if Tom rebuilds the motor for you.

yeah the copper stuff will work fine, the keyway needs RTV on it to prevent oil from coming out the keyway, thats what Tom told me! IS not likely to come out but it could so thats why we put RTV there.
