GT badge

I was working at one of the parking lots we clean and found this GT badge on the lot. It looks familiar, but I can't place what car it came off of. Anyone know?

I thought it looked 60'sish. I bet the owner of the car is missing it. It appears it was run over and bent up, so he'd need another one anyway.

looks like a 68 torino gt emblem from grill

I looked at some of the Torino GTs on ebay and didn't see one that had this type of badge.

The font on the badge looks the same as the one on the center caps for this California Special, but don't see any badges on it that look like this.
