I have a 94 sc and Im hearing a knock (after going over bumps) driver side rear.. checked shock and it is tight ,wheel is tight, cannot find any loose suspension parts anybody have a clue what this could be????

You could have some worn out bushings in the rear suspension. Check to see if any of them got beat out causing metal to metal contact.

I had a similar knock and it turned out that the bushing in the bottom of the shock was worn out. You could grab the bottom of the shock and move it around easily about 1/4" to 1/2". Replaced the bushing and the clunk went away.

Just another possibility...

All the above suggestions are good but there is one more thing you can check. Is your emergency brake adjusted up tight? If not, the large metal adjuster can have enough slack to bang against the exhaust and will make a knock that may be hard to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from. John

Ditto...be sure to check it with the parking brake released.

and if those bushings are shot on those rear knuckles you can also get crappy uneven tire wear from the drift...
