Howdy all:

Any interest on SCCoA in higher speed range speedometers? We had a thread going on TCCoA about it in the Interiors forum, that resulted in a how-to article writeup at the http://www.thisisnotapornsite.info/mn12speedo/ webserver. The small file is a MS Word document and the big file is a MS PowerPoint slide show with pictures.

Larry has shared his article with the SCCoA and one of our members is turning it into a pdf file that will be posted on our site as well. Thanks, Larry!

Gauge face sets available

89psychobird:

A fellow by the name of Scott Hrbacek has been doing the custom gauge faces for some time. His website is at http://www.customgaugefaces.com where a number of the TCCoA gang has purchased the face sets. I don't know what they go for myself, haven't got around to doing my 180 yet.

Scott and I were trading emails back and forth prior to my finishing the article - I wanted to get his approval before naming him in the writeup - and although I've not met him, he comes across as an OK guy.

Well I did mine last night and (160) and so far so good. Speedo throghout the range is withen 1-2 mph over according to the gps.
If you follow the writ up to a T then you shouldnt have any troubles. Now if your electronically challenged I would find a friend that can do it for you but imo the cavemen in the Gieco commercial could do it with the way its written up.
Very good write up BTW
