Fair price for 89 XR7?

Fair price for 89 XR7?

What do you think is a fair price to pay for an 89 XR7 that has recent motor work(heads & head gasgets), 200k, 5sp, runs and drives great.

I haven't seen the car yet, but I will be soon. I have been told that body and interior are in good condition.

What do you guys think?

For a canadian one??? Is it rusty?? I have looked at a couple cougers like that. With that amount of k's its not gonna be mint at all. But if u know the cars and wanna fix them up u can get them dirt cheap. The cougers are not worth no where near as much as a SC.

Figure 1800-5000 for it. 5000 being MINT

i have seen some bagged 2000 ones. Its not worth the trouble at that price, good ol' ford quality is taking over by then and you never gonna stop stuff from breaking
