My friend has a 91 SC. The typical brake issues were there so he converted to standard brakes. Took it to get the safety inspection today and it failed because it couldn't stop in the distance required. Any ideas? The pedal feels good and the car stops as you slow to the stop, however if you hit the brakes hard it's not very responsive. The brake booster and master cylinder are new.
