"Silver Bullet" New best 11.078et at 123.094

Jim COngrats!..Great time..With 20psi and 11.1 compression I bet your ACT temps are skyrocketing with that double IC..If you put in a nice front mount or even alchohol/wate rinjection to cool the charge youde be in the 10's easy .

Again congrats!

Also that stang has a turbo so ya know....:O)

9.83 @ 138 mph Wowwww

Thats it time to put my engine in a 95 Mustang body what type of valve's are you running and spring pressure? what is the weight of your 95?

well i went 9.85 with Stock Ford valves. and some normall single springs. i think they had 125seat and 310ish open.

now i have 1.86 intake and 1.57 exhaust valves with some better springs more like 160ish seat and 360open.

those time where with medium sized cams.

it is 3300 with me in it. and i am adding weight as we speak(more cage)

cause i have put on a bigger turbo and a bigger cam. :D

Thank You

I want to go as quick as I can with the double IC we found problems with the tune leaning out and timming. Next time out after he tunes it on the dyno should be well in the 10's. That Stang has a turbo awesome power he is making with it

Todd

You remember 2001 first Vegas meet in the parking Garage of the casino we where all staying at? I think its you that gave me a tbird decal on the tip of the wings say Super Coupe with SC in the middle was that you that gave it to me? I just put it on my car before the race Chevy guys noticed it right off looks nice

Yea Jim, it was me who gave you a sticker.
I remember Vegas. That was the first meet we ever attended.
You really should go to the shootout. Its a long haul, but I bet you would enjoy seeing people, the cars, the dyno, & the racing!
Plan ahead & take a week off to enjoy traveling.
As for our car we could get better ETs out of it, but I enjoy just being able to drive it. I hate to get really serious about changes that may effect mileage, drivability etc.

Good job Jim! Pretty amazing how the right parts and tuning can come together.

Thank You

When we ran 11.911et we here tuning by fuel pressure alone no EEC tuning plus slippping and buring high gear clutches on that run. We had the right combo but never a chance to tune it right. Its still not correct on the tune he just put a tune in he thought was close to test it. I am going to get it down to the dyno shop next Sat so he can get it tuned 100% than hope to get it into the 10's. I just wish we had the tunner back in 2003

Jim, congrats on the run. Wow you are knocking on the door to the 10 second zone. Hope you keep pushing the car harder and faster. 10 seconds with a double IC would be very interesting. I can't believe you are only running it 15% overdrive.

Wonder what an MPx with like 30% overdrive and the tensioner spring mod would get you?

What size injectors are you running in the car?

Get some new slicks and post up your 10 second slip.

This motivates me to get my car out of the 15's. If I had traction it'd run mid 14's but I feel the need for speed.

Thanks Scott

I run 50lb MSD injectors I am at 15% overdrive with my dads special ported 95 blower its getting 20lbs of boost. Its making lots of power to get this heavy car into the low 11's and soon 10's. My goal is get around Coys time its comming around now with good dyno tune and new sticky Hoosiers and cool night air should net some good numbers

This is great to see what I do motivate others to keep with there setup trying harder pushing for better et and speed

Next step 10's

Thanks to all of you!

My next step 10's It feels great to improve the cars performance after 4 long years. The best part knowing people remember the car and racing it once again we will be going out soon to move it up a notch more

Special thanks to So-Cal Ron Randall of Interstate Transmission in Modesto Ca. for building a great racing trans to get me in the low 11's
