Lower intake question

Well a few days ago it rained and leaked all inside my garage. Luckily only a few things got damaged. The main one that concerns me is underside of the lower intake. I don't know if its replaceable or even how it is attached. Do I need to replace the whole intake? Thanks

Maybe it's just been a long day and I'm brain dead but could someone including the author please translate into english? I have no clue what you are trying to say. Rain...leaky garage...lower intake...replace??...HUH??????

Sorry if it's just my brain not functioning.

Damn, I just spent like 20 minutes typing a reply trying to desribe what I was talking about. Mr. Dover just did it all for me, excpet I'm not paranoid, its definately rusted. Please someone tell me it can be replaced separately from the rest of the intake.

Try using a some sand paper and a dremel...

How heavy is the rust? If it is light, use an abrasive and clean it up!!!!

Ben Dover: Interesting "b!tch slap" animation. Had me giggling. :)

its riveted

you can remove it by drilling out the rivets and re attach with bolts i have some of these left over from my inverted setups want one ill send it to you in a few days just email me . mannysc@msn.com
