Gents, #5 spark plug is sooty with dry black, powdery deposits. Idle is excessively lopey and hydrocarbons off the chart. Thinking stuck injector. Any way to check pulse, resistance, etc? to determine? Thanks
Cylinder balance test part of the self diagnosis with a code scanner. You could check for a voltage on the control wire to the injector, but I'm not sure what scale you would use.
