Hey guys,
I'm converting my '92 5 speed to a 4R70W automatic using the PCS standalone transmission controller.
I need to know the pulses per mile of the SC speedometer.
The software defaulted it at 14,000, which may be correct, but its a universal "Ford" file so it may not be correct for the T-bird.
This controller does not use the VSS, only the output shaft speed sensor. This is kinda neat because I can enter my final drive and tire size to calibrate the speedo, don't have to worry about speedo gears.
Also, I believe the tach signal on the SC is +12VDC square wave, correct? Can anyone verify this for me as well?
