Input shaft Stuck

Went to install my new AOD-550 and F52-TT converter today and can't get the TC to fully seat and now the input shaft is stuck in the TC. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get them separated?

The old TC seats just fine so I'm thinking something is up with the new converter.
