John, It came out pretty good. Hopefully in a couple months I'll have my black sc on the road and I'll be ready to put Tony in his place...............

Todd can do it now in his 343 RWHP Superstang............

I'm hoping to have at least 375 RWHP on motor and 450 RWHP on the bottle.

For some reason I can not see the writing on the wall for the T-bird. What were the mods to it? And what did it make at the tires?

That 94 tbird was my first car, I bought it when I was 18 in 1998.
I had over 400,000 miles on it, after years of talking about it I finally replaced the smoking, tired 4.6 with a 2000 4.6 back in march. In april I replaced the entire interior with the help of Nickelman. 3 weeks later while sitting at a red light I was rear ended. The trunk was crushed down against the rear tire-totaling it. later that day I searched Auto trader and found that Mark VIII and bought it that night. Everyone that knows me here has known all of the work I did to it and after the wreck I gave up on it.

I saw the Mk8 sitting up at Freedom when I went to see Herb one day. He said you had just bought it. Looked like a nice car. What did you guys fugure out with the PATS problem to get it running??

I only had 1 key with the car so I went up there and ordered 2 remotes and 2 keys. the mark viii has a one off unique pats system and you can only use the pats keys stamped M8 on the blade. once you do the key code erase thru the ngs you must program at least 2 key or it will not start. amy cut a pair of keys on everything she had in stock and my pats system would not read them, she ended up ordering the genuine lincoln keys and that worked. what a ~~~~ that was, had to leave my car up there and find a way back to hampton. I really feld bad for herb because he was trying to do a favor for me since I used to work with him there and it ended up wasting alot of time.

There was only one aftermarket company we would use (of course this was about ten years ago) for the PATS system. There were like four others that I knew of and you would order the keys and they would work for about a week and then not. Some would loose the chip out of them and some would just not work. After having to warranty a few of those, you can imagine how quick an hour of time + the cost of a few keys can piss off a service manager. One more reason for only using Ford parts.
