When I first got the SC itch, I blew up two motors in my old Red '92 5spd.
Full rebuild with new pistons\machine work, etc. broke forged reman crank, 2nd time spun bearing on untouched forged crank. But now, IMO, I've got a really really good running ride. The current one is a Blue '95 5spd with some nice mods such as: -Griffin Aluminum Rad -CAI intake -Under-drive SC pulley -Alpine stereo -Kooks mid length headers -Full SCP Exhaust Transmission was just rebuilt with fiber blockers, new alternator, alarm/key-less entry/trunk release, fold down rear seats, Teflon gaskets, no oil leaks or use, 5k on Goodyear Eagles, nothing mechanical wrong with it and meticulously cared for. Paint is about 90% perfect, interior is the same and everything works nice. Best news is that a real EXCELLENT friend of mine (that owns the fastest SC I've been in) sold it to me for $1500. Take a look at a few pics and let me know what you think ![]() https://picasaweb.google.com/pscKeithW/MyTBirdSC5Spds |
