All in all it was a good day. I ran a 2012 season best of 11.280 and made it to the 3rd round of Quick Ford before red lighting myself a loss. Oh well I should have lost in the 2nd round, ran out of fuel around the 1000' mark, coughed it across the line with an 11.77. The car I was racing was a 9 sec. Mustang who red lighted, his reaction time was -.001. I know he was pissed knowing I staggered across the line and he was 1/1000th to quick which gave him the loss.......

Good Job Keith!

I'd rather go red than go dead!!!!! At least you were tyring to put a light on him.

So how is the car 60ft with the new set up on decent track prep? Yeah you need to check the fuel cell more often before running LOL!!!!! Glad you didn't have any problems associated with that.

You all running today??

Maybe so but I'd rather lose at the other end of the track...........

Car pulled consistant 60' times all day, I ran 6 times and my times were 1.55, 1.55, 1.57, 1.58, 1.59 and 1.61. My 2 best reaction times were .066 and .097.

I was unlucky to run out of fuel and lucky it didn't harm anything, especially running the nitrous. The good thing about the Zex system is if the management unit senses no fuel pressure it cuts the nitrous off, good fail safe feature.

No ones running today, we all had enough..............

Yeah, I started the day off running a personal best of 12.6. It was great except for the fact that I was running in the 13.0 index! So dad pulled a bunch of timing out of the car, that, combined with me peddling at the 1000 ft mark I was able to run two 13.1's and a 13.07 to get 2nd in True Street.

By adjusting a tune to hit a certain index, is a great way to hone your skills with your tuning software, .

True....good point but what if you screw up on the tree or spin, etc. You can still make up for loss time with the pedal......
