Unfortunate circumstances but now the time put in some forged pistons/rods while you have it apart.........just my 2 cents.

Needs a proper shortblock, be kind of a waste to put them in a used block. Its already in the works just a matter of when it all falls together sometime.

Don't feel bad for me, breakin parts makin horsepower go hand in hand. It just sucks fixing it. Ask Corey I think he's the king of that or at least should be.

With air tools I bet I can do an axle in 5

They were dual springs, and Dave said no more then 6400 with them. So when your rev limiter in QH is set to 6800 and you bounce off it a few times things can happen....

Thats why I upgraded to beehives this year, adjustable rocker arms, and different lifter preload setting.

Well his current ones are stockers shoved way down, to act like solids. Id think a short travel hyd lifter would be much better in this application.

We discussed short travel lifters on here a while back, but still tossin the idea around. They are $80 bucks more then stock replacement.
