Could just be the voltage of the TPS needs to be set up. I had to drill out the holes of the TPS sensor to make room for adjustment. If I remember correctly you need to set at .94 volts. Turn the key on, set up a voltmeter on the wires of the TPS to get a reading, move the unit around, you will see the voltage jump around. Slightly tighten up the screws until you can get close to the .94 reading, once there tighten them up, and you are done. This will set up or help out with your idle settings. Then there is the other set up with the throttle blade. I did a search a while ago to find both of these to help me help when I was setting up my last TB. From your tune with Fraser, I don't you would rich from just adding a TB. I think your trouble are just from needing to set up the TB, which can be a ~~~~ most times.
I hope that helps. |

Tb
Cant adjust TB it has two set screws into the housing of the TB. I believe this is the issue.... as well it will start with the tps unplugged ..once runnign i can plug it back in...and it will run fine.. the issue i had at frasers was the maf its now fixed and has full signal.
So maybe i just unplug plug it in and drive to frasers get the new tune...? |

Just drill a larger diameter hole in each of the existing holes in the TPS itself. That is what will give you the room to adjust it once the screws in are in the TB just snugged up.
You must of had the 75MM unit before with the "adjustable" TPS, by drilling out the sensor holes you are doing the same basic thing here. |

I have not done a wiper motor with that in the car. We wanted to switch over the wiper motor when the engine was out, but we didn't for a few reasons. I'm not sure how much room you will have, but I'm sure it can be done.

As I recall, the EEC records a baseline TPS voltage every time you start the car. So it doesn't have to be right at 0.8V or whatever. But it does have to be below 1V or so.
A problem where the car won't run with the TPS plugged in sounds mighty familiar, but I know it hasn't happened to me. I am suspecting the problem may lie elsewhere and this may be a red herring. The wiper motor is not really hard to replace with the intake in the car, but there will be a bit of finagling involved.

You can probably get the old one rebuilt locally, as another option.
