That is what i needed. So thank you Tim. But from reading through it now i have more questions. It brings up that i need to look up the hole size in another artical. So i would like to find that information as well, but it also starts to talk about being under 300hp. As of right now the car is under that but after i finish my work there is a chance it will break into 300hp. So any points in what to do woulds be great.

The larger the whole the firmer the shift. Suggest starting small. As it is much easier to make a whole bigger in a valve body as trying to make it smaller.
300hp is a reference number. With 215hp in my 97 the middle size whole was just right. Had it been 300hp it would of snapped the driver/riders' neck(s) everytime it shifted instead of just when on the accel a bit more. Personal preference. Many with the Mark VIII that have lower TQ go big, because they don't have the lower end the other engines do stock. With the 3.8 SC starting small and seeing how you like it would be a good choice. The first time you have to go from a stop next to a cop remember what was typed here. ![]()

Hmm this is all very interesting. Now i know when i picked up the car the tranny was rebuilt less then 1k ago. When i drive she shifts hard, it shifts nice when i lift off the gas. So idk if it was jmodded or if when it was rebuilt it had a shift kit thrown in. But back to my seconed post, where do i get the hole size from?
