I don't know, I'd love to have either one...or both :D

Personally I'd rather have a 1989-1990 Cougar SC, because they are more rare than Thunderbird SC's

As a whole yes but the '94 SC had the fewest total number of cars produced according to productions numbers taken off of this site.

Year/Model Automatic Manual
1989 Ford Thunderbird SC 4,768 8,041
1989 Mercury Cougar XR7 2,225 2,238
1990 Ford Thunderbird SC 15742 6,067
1990 Ford Thunderbird SC 35th Anniversary Edition 3,371
1990 Mercury Cougar XR7 3,288 841
1991 Ford Thunderbird SC 5,134 1,905
1992 Ford Thunderbird SC 2,956 1,256
1993 Ford Thunderbird SC 2,853 1,038
1994 Ford Thunderbird SC 1,925 722
1995 Ford Thunderbird SC 5,167 574

I like the 94/5 5 speed but have owned several anny cars too. I just do not like the suede inserts texture. Otherwise I like the two tone int/ ext set up. Both very nice cars.

A 94/95 5-spd is definitely the rarest particular SC, and I've heard they are slightly better-performing than the rest of the Thunderbird SC's.

I totally agree with you, I was just getting at how of the approx. 1.5 million MN12 cars, only approx. 70,000 are Super Coupes and of those, only 8,388 are 94/95 Thunderbird SC's and 8,592 are Cougar SC's.

I just felt that Cougar SCs should be mentioned since they are practically as rare as 94/95 SC's (including automatics)

In my dream car shopping list, I'd want to get a 1995 SC 5-spd, a 35th Anny with a Many-Tranny :D, and a 1989 5-spd Cougar (year that the SC was Motor-Trend Car of the Year)
