Going to the drag strip on sunday

On sunday Northeast Dragway is having an all day test and tune/ grudge match. http://www.northeastdragway.net/

Who wants to go? I just installed the trac lok, driveshaft, 4:10's, 255 pump,
and hub bearings last night. I will have the second stage of nos ready by this weekend. I am hoping to get into the low 8's or high 7's

Have you seen the video of the black Mk8 with the centrifugal supercharger and like a 4k stall converter?? Stupid fast...I think it is on streetfire.net...or atleast it used to be....

The second stage is to lower the initial hit from the 100 shot by having 2 seperate 75 shots instead. I cant hook up with the 4:10's and a 100 shot. I will adjust the first shot to track conditions and use the second shot when im out of the hole.

Yeah, your right. They showed one check point to the outer banks on the news last night so you need to have everything in order, liscense, regristration, inspection, there were checking everything.

Picking up my flywheel today from the machine shop so will your neighbor let me use his engine hoist next weekend Todd?

Also heads up if anyone has helmets it would help if you brought them. Last couple of times I was there the tech inspector asked if I had one, and I said no, they let me run anyway both times. it just depends I guess. I didn't see any track rules about helmets or blow down tubes.

Hey Keith I have a hoist in my garage you can use, come and get it any time. it would be nice to get it out of the way for awile so I can get another car in my garage.

Ok I talked to todd today and we figured the best method to meet would be at his house since he lives the closest to the route that we will be taking. we plan on leaving his house at 11am sunday. I plan on getting there by 10:30.

everyone that goes make sure you have enough fuel and cash because there are no atm's or gas stations on the route once you reach nc
