I voted chameleon just because you have a rare one-year only color of a rare car. Plus this way you wouldn't have to respray under the hood and in the jambs. I know the paint is expensive, but I didn't think it cost that much. If you PM me the paint code, I can see what I can get it for, and maybe save you some money, or convince you to keep it that color.

Yes, the Mustang Cobra got a very different paint color. Two versions, actually. They both look very cool in person, but I like the newer one even better.
First: http://www.hayabusa.org/forum/attach...tic_unkn3.jpeg Second: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/pic/1...ichrome_3.html The Ford Probe got some kind of chameleon paint job too ... I think I have seen it in two different shades, one a greenish and one pinkish. Hmm, I found a couple of photos ... I think there was still one other color, but I don't recall. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/697363 http://www.cardomain.com/ride/845670 The Thunderbird came in a couple of other unusual colors ... Pearl White and Clear Crystal Blue Frost Metallic. My brother had an LX in the latter color, which was basically a very light blue with a slight flip-flop to purplish in off lighting.

A rare, last-year-production car in a rare color. Are you kidding? Keep it the ORIGINAL color; Save up and do it right. Plus you'll save someone in the future from having to undo a mess.
Likely, a color change would cost more than the correct color, once you factor in all the jambs, underhood area, etc. You WERE going to jamb it out, weren't you?... |
