A Tired TBird LX

My friend has a 1995 Tbird LX that has had a rather hard life, but it just keeps going. Rear main seal is leaking oil, its radiator exploded when the fan quit working, and its been hit 5 different times, once by my sister. I just replaced the driver's fender because my sister bent it in badly, and the door wouldn't open anymore. Its got over 300,000 miles on it, but it keeps going.

My dad had a 91 that was pretty much the same way. After the 3rd accident the ins company just totaled it out. When I was driving it to the place where I was gonna strip it for parts I did a huge burn out with it. Had over 300,000 on it, though it did have the HG's replaced about 100,000 miles before that.

Oh, and it was a 3.8NA, thats what got me wanting an SC and loving TBirds.

Mine has 200,XXX on it. Just this weekend it got in the first accident. I hit a dog and crunched a bunch of stuff in the front including my cobra r hood. Trans is dragging when you let out of the gas and the OD light flashed at me the other day when I was driving home. Rear end is starting to wine and the rockers are starting to rust through.

All will be fixed and improvements made. With any luck, I will go through it again at almost a half-a-million miles. 'Till now, the cost of ownership has been rediculously low. An $80 buck fuel hose, a radiator, and ball joints were the only things that acutally gave out. I have upgraded all of the suspension stuff to urithane, but from that, it has been the best....still factory window motors. Lets hear the F-body crowd chime in on this.
