ABS issues on 89 SC, is this my accumulator?

I just picked up this low-mileaged 89 SC today. The you hit the brakes, both the ABS and brake light come on then go out after about second. When parked, and the engine is off, if I hit the brake pedal, it does the same thing. You can hear the pump-motor whir for a second or two then shuts off with every push of the brake, and the lights come on every time then go back out.

My first thought was that this was a bad accumulator. The relay has been changed recently. The pedal works when pressed slow, but if you had to hit in a hurry, it is like pure sponge and very dangerous and the car will pull off to the right. Where is my first stop? I fit needs an accumulator, where can I get one?

Also, I can assume that after the accumulator is replaced, if need be, the system has to be bled at each wheel, or is it at the rears only? What is the procedure for bleeding the brakes? Do you think the accumulator is the problem?
