Kurt,

Do you know how far is it from STL to where we are staying Friday night ?

I believe we are staying in Detroit on Friday night too. I think Tony mentioned it in the other thread. St. Louis to Detroit is 562 miles.

Right...I was just wondering how many hours it would take to get there so we could decide what time to leave St. Louis. Looks like a 9.5-10 hour drive, so I would prefer to leave pretty early, like 6:30-7:00 AM.

You will lose an hour crossing the timezone too. Doug was a 350 mile drive for me (holland MI) and you could do that in 6 hours comfortably if that helps.

My car is done and ready to go. I went ahead and paid my registration too.

David

PS: Kathy is now planning to do the second half of the tour instead of the first half.

My car is not done, but is still consuming money. SO I'm not registering yet due to lack of funds. BUT - the Marauder is my fallback machine so either way, I'll be in with something (at some point).

In case it is helpful for others, I'm planning on about $1750 to cover gas ($700), hotels ($300), and 10 days of spending money.
