$750 just for spending money? Are you buying Air Jordans along the way? Of course, if you are buying the Defining Moments packages then you will only be able to buy 2 sets.

If you don't get worse than 16 mpg, then $700 will probably work for you too. And If I was staying by myself all 8 stays, my budget would increase by $500.

Duane, I have no clue how much money we'll burn through, but figured $75/night was a good start. I know the TBU guys like the expensive hookers.

You can lower your food budget quite a bit by just eating Olive Garden breadsticks the whole trip.

Well it's official

Well thanks to Uncle Sam and a few other things I will not be able to make this years Power Tour. Was syched and getting things ready to go but, simply can't make it happen this year.

Post lots of Pics, be safe and have a great time for those that are still going, I look forward to hearing about how things went.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Smitty. Hopefully, you'll still be able to make the Shootout.

Don't worry, I'm sure some pictures will get posted, but maybe not the incriminating ones

I won't miss the shootout. I have to defend my title LOL! Just bad timing really for the power tour this time around. I should be able to make next years.

Thanks,
Take care and be safe.

Not to put any pressure (or guilt) on you, but there probably won't be a next year. There could be, but more than likely it'll take another 10 years to get even a couple of SC's to go on the Long Haul.

Micah is right. The last time I did the Long Haul was in 2002. I think Dalke did it as recently 2006. Plus, this also exceeds Niebert's personal 500 mile event limit...although, I think there is some flexibility there. Plus, Neibert owes Damon a trip to Carlisle, which always conflicts with the Power Tour.

Yeah...Even if everything goes great this time, I don't think I'll be doing the entire Power Tour again. That's just too far for me.

I am planning to attend Carlisle in 2013, and I will be bringing the car to PA on a trailer.

Might be able to meet up in Arlington on the last day. Of course everyone will be ready to get the heck out of dodge by then but it would be nice to meet a few of the SCer's.

The entire trip might be fun but 2600 miles not so much.
