I was considering getting the 85mm tb, but i heard that you can use on from a 94-95 stang. You can get a 75mm tb for a mustang for $150 and the 85mm for $350. I was just wondering how much of a performance gain the 85 would offer over the 75. By the way i have just about every bolt on including exhaust and gears.

You probably won't gain anything over the 75 unless you have a nasty cam and big valve heads. You will also need a Magnum Powers inlet and late model supercharger.

Depends on the HP level you have achieved. Bolt ons do not equal HP. Kurt K ran 13.5 @ 101 with the stock TB and bolt ons. Until you can quantify how much HP you actually have, an intellegent decision can not be made. Hp level where the 85mm becomes beneficial is about 380HP+ (300 to the wheels).
FWIW a 75MM TB flows 1000cfm. Something tells me you haven't hit that yet. ![]()
