Here is the new schedule. I saw it on MustangWorks and ripped it off. I plan on running my 95 LX this year. Since last year only 1 Cougar was out there. I won't run like the Stangs did but it will be alot of fun. Hope to see you folks there again next year.

Hmm
Major props to Jim for getting this. Looking at that schedule, I wonder if the Finals in Bowling Green wouldnt be out of our way either. My dad went there this year. I would enjoy it if some of us decided to race in it this year but staying on Sunday for eliminations may be difficult for some, but we got a few months to plan this out.

Well, if you're going to run your LX I guess I should bring my SC. I want to do more racing this year. I was under the impression that NMRA was just Mustangs, though. Do they have a class that the SC would fit into?

Factory Stock Class Overview Factory Stock is designed for naturally aspirated small block 1979 and newer Ford Fox Chassis bodied and Ford powered vehicles including 1996 to present 4.6L Mustangs. Factory Stock entries are limited to 302, and 4.6L 2 or 4 valve modular engine types. 302 engine types are permitted a maximum of 311 cubic inches. 4.6L modular engines are permitted a maximum of 289 cubic inches Here Pure Street Pure Street is designed for naturally aspirated small block 1979 and newer Ford Fox Chassis bodied and Ford powered vehicles including 1996 to present 4.6L Mustangs. Pure Street entries are limited to 302, and 4.6L 2 or 4 valve modular engine types. 302 engine types are permitted a maximum of 311 cubic inches. 4.6L modular engines are permitted a maximum of 289 cubic inches. Here Pure Street class lets you make more modifications than the factory class. For this next event I'm just going to run the factory stock. I'm planning on entering my SC in the show and shine but it isn't going on the track. I want to mod the LX for now and don't want to mess with the SC yet. Jim Long |

I just e-mailed the NMRA tech advisor and told him what I had and asked if I qualified and what class I'd run in. I'll post what he tells me.
