Sac Raceway - Jan 4 - Results

Sorry for the delay folks, but it was one hectic day for the "California Twins" family.

First I must say the day was PERFECT weather wise at the track. John and Jim were joined by our son in his 2000 Silverado King Cab for some GREAT runs.

And Al, YOU MISSES IT!

I just have the pictures, the "guys" will have to tell you their times, and tomorrow we'll have the timeslips up!

Enjoy the pictures!

Jim and John,

great runs for both of you. i enjoyed the day. I have some good video of the race. Jim, now that you have three confirmed Corvette kills under your blower belt, maybe you take on a Cobra. A snake skinned blower belt, that would be an SC first. hehehe

Headlamps?

Hey mrsGONE14S,

I know it's a little off topic, but those black headlamps in your sig picture - what are they? I've seen them around on plenty of cars and trucks but never had the chance to pay much attention to where to find them. They look awsome on some cars though, that's for sure!

tigerknight,

Auto Ventshade Headlight Covers from Summit Racing or 1-800-230-3030.

Easy to install and uninstall, they just snap on over the whole headlight assembly. I don't use them at night, your headlights don't shine through, not even high beams.

Ahh, I could never tell if they were photo-sensitive lenses on headlights or just slip covers. Would be cool to have a headlight that was dark during the day and then lightened up at night like all-purpose glasses, but those would be terribly expensive I'm sure.
