Cookie Timeout?

I tend to hop on a forum and when I find a question I might answer I sometimes go digging around to check for previous answers, or verify here or there. But by the time I get back, all the posts that showed as NEW before, now show READ.

YIKES.

It bites that I loose track of what I have and haven't already seen before goes away because I take some time to answer a question. Is it possible to change that functionality in some way? Is ther a setting on my profile I need to fix?

Thanks.

Arggg it drives me nuts.

I dug around. Maybe you guys have already as well.

There are some issues with it but maybe you could bump the time up from it's default of 15 minutes to something more like 30, or 45 minutes?

From searching the VBulletin forums:
Admin CP -> Options -> vBulletin Options -> [User and registration options] -> Timeout for Cookie

Thanks.

Looks like the short timeout is back with the updated board software. I've noticed it more and more as I take longer to type the stuff I say.

I know I'm getting older, but I'm not that old yet. The time out must have reverted.

Can it be pushed out again?
