Cowl Hoods (need to get made for summer)

alright
I know people are busy within the new year with work and other things but whats the deal with these cowl hoods for the sc's?

I remember someone saying they had no time and if someone wanted to take over the project then they were more then welcome to.....well summer is fast approaching and im not prepared to spend 1000 dollars shipping in a hood from the US.

If anyone has the info on the hoods and where to deliver the stock hold for mold etc etc give it to me. I will take on the project so that some of us will be able to have a nice looking hood for summer.

I've tried to get some interest on this topic, but I'm not having much luck trying to find someone here in Canada to produce them (or at least a reputable builder). I'll do what I can to help you get things going. Let me know.

Well, seeing as how Steve is busy with life, i'll do my best to talk to Jeff this week and see what he can do for you guys (and girls).
It WOULD make things simpler if everyione agreed on one style of hood. Yeah, yeah, I know fat chance. I'll keep you posted.

Jason - still got that donor hood???

Canadian Custom Fibreglass will make you a hood, but they may take a year or two to finish it They will also want a copy of an orginal to copy as well I bet. Just a thought though.

Apparently, Canadian Custom Fiberglass is not the most favourable place to order parts. Some other members have mentioned this as well.

yeah I know, they have not had good customer relations the past year or so. They were the only place I could think of that makes custom pieces, you bring them the idea and they say they will make a mould for it.

Just get me the info and i'll make it happen.
If people want a hood for a 94+ then theyll need to supply me with a hood that i can bring to them or whatever.....Im going to volunteer my hood off my 93 so that we can finally get this project into flight.

Im looking at a raised cowl.....what were the other people asking about? I thought people only wanted the cowl ones made up.

well so far Ryan and Bruce have added me to their MSN list to get this hood project on the go. Im not gonna go around asking asking people what kind of hood they want for what year blah blah blah i dont have the time for that so what people need to do (as i said before) you need to add me to MSN to give me the info (tearflaw@hotmail.com)

Bruce and I looked at 3 or 4" straight cowl or there was a picture of a white saleen bird with a cowl/ramair type hood from Legendary. People can voice their opinion but i dont think theyre gonna build 2 different kinds if theres only 2 of us. I dont want to be selfish or whatever but Im not in for that cervini's hood..........theres enough of those laying around that i could pick up for a cheap price.

well add me to MSN and we'll get all the details straightened out.
