145 speedo

Does anyone know how i can convert my 93 sc speedo to a 145 mph one-what cars do i look in, what parts do i need, how hard is it, and will it be accurate? Thanks a lot. Mike.

you will need the speedo itself from a 94-95 sc

The entire cluster or just the speedo-and just the face, or the wole thing-and thats the only one that will fit thanks. mike

Mike - you need the replacement speedo unit itself from the 94 + It just plugs right into the dash; however, a little care is needed when removing the dash cowl, lense, etc. I'd also clean all the back-light bulbs while you're in there & consider installing the white gauge faces as well. Shop around for the price (see the discount Ford parts dealers on the sccoa.links). Expect to pay around $120-140 and you'll need to place the existing mileage tag on your door jamb to be legal.
