Thumbs up an alternative to A-pillar gauge pod(pics)

hey guys just ordered one of these from egauges. Excellent customer service, and it was only $16. I will be putting mine where my vmm panel currently resides. I will post an update on fitment and post pics of this in my car(hopefully)

so that is a single din size gauge pod? won't work on early SC's unless they are building a true race car and remove the radio. Well I guess you could stick it down in the factory cd cubby hole. It'd be nice to be able to get an angled up one for lower mounting.

Looks nice! I did a simliar thing on the early style (mine's an 89) where I moved the radio to the unused CD space. I cut a plate out of an aluminum door sill that had grooves to match the plastic already there. Then painted it flat black to matche the interior. Plastic angled pieces from Summit to angle the gauges towards the driver:

Yes, that is a single din style gauge panel. I'm thinking that it will look alright without having to angle it up, but I guess i'll find out once installed.

EDIT: My link above is retarded, try this one

I'm workin on a custom fiberglass dash using small exhaust piping pieces as the gauge pods to angle the gauges towards the drivers face residing where the vmm is right now. I will post pics in a few days of its progress
