Man, just my luck.........

I saw an add in the classifieds BBS a fellow out west that had a complete 89 motor with....get this... 16,000 on it. I responded as soon as I saw it. I thought, man this is a dream come through. well he emails me back and says a guy in Alaska had already contacted him about it. Well, anyway he said there were some issues to work out between them so he should either make or break that deal by Wednesday. Sooooo maybe there is some hope :-/. Well lets see what my other options are. Does anyone kow where Steve is these days? Adam Mullen told me he was in Florida or something. I heard he had a spare motor but Im not sure if he sold it along with the rest of his stuff.

The hard part about it is that after working this past semster I have enough money to fix it (At least I hope so) but my dad is so tied up in his outboard repair business at home that both stalls of our garage are tied up. One has our racecar and the other always seems to have a boat he's working on. I was hoping to get the old girl ready for Nationals but it always seems to be something. Current estimates may put working on it until next winter when the outboard business takes a nap. Arrggh, its always something.
